Roy Burgos

Roy Burgos has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Roy started their career in 1999 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where they served as a Team Leader. In this role, they assessed staff requirements, integrated new technologies, and managed the annual budget.

In 2008, they joined Quilogy as a Managing Consultant, specializing in SharePoint architecture and working on projects with Microsoft.

Continuing their career at Aspect Software, they served as a Managing Consultant, Lead Architect, and later as a Lead Architect at Xtreme Consulting Group, Inc. Roy designed platform architectures, worked on cloud solutions, and collaborated with teams to develop applications using various technologies such as C#, PowerShell, and the .NET Framework.

Roy also served as a Senior Solutions Architect at Savvis and an Architect at Aspect Software, focusing on hosting platforms and designing Azure cloud solutions for clients.

From 2012 to 2018, Burgos held the position of Development Manager at Xtreme Consulting Group, Inc. Roy directed the development team, designed and coded solutions for Microsoft and other learning partners, and managed the hosting platform for training laboratories.

Most recently, they served as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at XtremeLabs LLC and is currently working at Skillable as a Senior Software Engineer.

Roy Burgos has a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the Philippines. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. These certifications include "AI for Everyone: Master the Basics" from edX, "edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Watson AI" from edX, "Scrum Master Certification" from the Six Sigma Global Institute, "Azure Essential Training for Developers" from LinkedIn, "Software Architecture: From Developer to Architect" from LinkedIn, and "Starting a Memorable Conversation" from LinkedIn. Roy obtained these certifications between February 2020 and December 2021.
