Mert Sozubek

Mert Sozubek has a solid work experience in the field of IT systems and infrastructure. Mert started their professional career as a Trainee at Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation in 2012. Mert then worked as a Business Development Assistant at IntraNET Information Technologies from November 2012 to February 2015. In December 2012, Mert co-founded E-PARAPONO.GR, where they worked until September 2013.

In 2015, Mert joined Istanbul Bilgi University as a Software Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for the management, administration, and integrations of the educational technology ecosystem. Mert developed SIS Modules in C#. NET and held this position until March 2021.

From March 2021 to February 2022, Mert worked as a Software Manager at Kadir Has University. Here, they oversaw the management, administration, and integration of educational technology systems and processes. Mert handled tasks such as needs analysis, project planning, software development, and server management. Mert also had experience in implementing SIS (SAP) integration, web services, REST, and SOAP.

Currently, Mert works as the Head of IT Systems and Infrastructure at SkillCat, starting in February 2022.

Mert Sozubek has a diverse education history. Mert completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Istanbul Bilgi University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Western Macedonia, which they attended from 2006 to 2012. Mert also attended Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2005 to 2006, where they studied Modern Greek Language and Literature in the Preparation Class.

Additionally, Mert holds several certifications. Mert earned a certificate in Asp.Net MVC Framework from BT Akademi in May 2015. In 2014, they obtained a Certificate of QlikView Developer & Designer from QlikView Türkiye. Mert also earned a Certificate of Research and Entrepreneurship in Greece and EU from the University of Western Macedonia in 2011. In 2008, Mert received a Certificate of Introduction to Grid Systems for E-Science from EGEE Informatics & Telematics Institute. Furthermore, they obtained a Certificate in 8 Habitudes in Sales from Sabanci University in 2005 and completed an Introduction to Oracle Systems certificate program offered by Teknosa in the same year. Lastly, Mert obtained a Certificate of Computer Operating and Programming from the Ministry of Education, Turkey in 1998.
