Gail Smyth is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and education. Currently serving on the Appointments Council for the Ontario College of Trades since June 2010, Gail also holds the position of Executive Director at Skills Ontario, which has been ongoing since December 1997. Gail has participated as a member of both 100 Women Who Care Waterloo Region and the Canadian Association of Women in Construction, engaging in networking opportunities among women in the construction industry. Previous roles include serving on the Curriculum Council for the Ministry of Education from December 2010 to May 2012 and working as a Co-Op Advisor at Conestoga College from June 1995 to December 1997. Educational qualifications include an Honourary Diploma in Technology from Niagara College and training from the Canadian Society of Association Executives.
