Carly currently holds the position of Director of Corporate Services and Project Manager at JDS Group of Companies since joining in 2017. Carly has also served as a Board Member at SkilledTradesBC since 2021. Prior to their current roles, Carly worked at New Gold Inc. from 2013 to 2017 in various positions, including Construction Interface Superintendent, Construction Coordinator, and Project Controls Coordinator. Carly was responsible for overseeing project budgets, coordinating change management, providing monthly reports, and collaborating with different project functions. Carly also has experience as an Operations Manager at Energy Aware Technology Inc. and as an Administrator at London Probation Trust. Carly began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Oce Display Graphics Systems. Overall, Carly's work experience showcases their expertise in project management, engineering, and cross-functional collaboration.
Carly Church, P.Eng., PMP has a Certificate in Risk Management from The University of Toronto, completed in 2016. Carly also holds a Masters of Technology Management from UNSW, completed from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Carly has a Bachelors of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology from The University of British Columbia, completed from 2001 to 2006. Carly has also obtained a Certificate in Business Analysis from The University of British Columbia. Carly is a certified Professional Engineer from Engineers and Geoscientists BC, and they are also certified as a Project Management Professional from the Canadian West Coast Chapter PMI.
