Deepti Sharma is a seasoned Senior Policy Analyst at SkilledTradesBC since July 2021, focusing on the development and implementation of complex policies in collaboration with stakeholders. Currently consulting for BZAM Cannabis, Deepti ensures compliance with the Cannabis Act through policy creation and evaluation. Previous roles include Policy Analyst for BC Doctors of Optometry, where strategic negotiations and relationship management with governmental bodies were paramount. Deepti has extensive experience in market research, data analysis, and policy development from roles at UM Marketing, Canadian Red Cross, and Sentis Market Research. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of York and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Simon Fraser University.
