Aamir A.

Aamir A. has a strong background in software engineering and development. Aamir currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at SkillGigs.com, where they began in February 2021. Prior to this, Aamir worked as a Technology Leader at Skillgigs/Swipefox, starting in February 2021.

Before joining SkillGigs, Aamir worked at Chevron as a Technical Solutions Architect from December 2019 to February 2021. Aamir also had a role as a Sr. Technical Lead at Chevron from May 2019 to December 2019.

Aamir gained experience as a Sr. Full Stack Lead Developer during their time as a consultant at ExxonMobil from May 2018 to May 2019.

From 2015 to 2018, Aamir worked at Texas A&M University as a Technical Lead Developer. In this role, they developed enterprise .net solutions, implemented ETL procedures, and built HTML5 web/mobile single-page applications using AngularJS and NodeJS.

As a consultant at IQ Tech Pros, Aamir served as an RTS Developer (Full Stack) at Halliburton from October 2017 to March 2018. Aamir also worked as a Full Stack Developer at Entrance Consulting from June 2015 to October 2017.

Prior to that, Aamir worked as a Sr. Software/SharePoint Developer at Halliburton from May 2012 to March 2015. Aamir developed custom solutions using SharePoint, C#, ASP.NET, and WCF.

Aamir began their career as a Software Developer at Texas Learning and Computation Center from February 2007 to December 2010. Aamir developed a distance education training portal and worked on a project awarded a $2.5 million federal grant.

Aamir A. pursued their undergraduate studies from 2006 to 2010 at the University of Houston, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems and Services. Notably, they achieved the honor of being on the Dean's List during their time at the institution.
