James Berke has a diverse work experience. James started working at Peninsula Parking in 2016 as an Operations Manager, where they managed a team of 75 valets, drafted event contracts, created event plans, and effectively managed staffing for events. James maintained an events database using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

In 2021, James joined Hack for LA as a Software Engineer, where they worked until June 2022. James then joined Skilljar, first as a Services and Support Engineer, and later as a Senior Services and Support Engineer starting in February 2023.

James Berke attended App Academy from 2019 to 2020, where they pursued a degree in Software Engineering and Full Stack Web Development. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, James attended City College of San Francisco, where they studied Sociology, but did not obtain a degree.
