Víctor Sánchez Chávez has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.
Starting in 2009, they worked at ASIS Technology Partners as a Process Manager and Project Leader, overseeing the implementation of the Integrated Management System.
In 2011, they joined Tata Consultancy Services as a Business Analyst, conducting analysis for the World Class BI project and supporting management in IT and BPS projects as a Delivery Assurance Facilitator.
From 2015 to 2018, they worked at LATAM Airlines as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, managing reports and developing dashboards for various business areas. Víctor also served as an Expert Process Engineer, managing and monitoring the World Class BI project.
In 2019, they worked as a Data Scientist at TheContillery, where they applied ML algorithms and analyzed data from Instagram to optimize engagement and build reports.
In 2020, they co-founded OpenCovid-Peru, a Covid-19 monitoring platform, where they served as a voluntary Data Scientist and helped assemble and manage a team of researchers and engineers. Víctor also co-founded SkillMapper, where they currently work as the Co-Founder and CTO, responsible for the development and architecture of the company's backend technology.
Víctor Sánchez Chávez has an extensive education history in the field of data science and analytics, as well as project management and engineering. Víctor obtained a Master's degree in Data Science & Business Analytics from ESSEC | CentraleSupélec between 2018 and 2019. Prior to that, in 2015, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Intelligence at Universidad de Chile, focusing on data mining, data warehousing, and business intelligence management. In 2010, Víctor earned a Diploma in Project Management and Quality in PMBOK from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Finally, they graduated from the same institution in 2009 with a degree in Informatic Engineering, specializing in software engineering.
