Skills for Change
Christina Muia, MDes, is an experienced professional in social enterprise and community engagement with a strong background in program management and development. Currently serving as the Manager of Social Enterprise at Skills for Change since March 2023, Christina oversees the Career Skills program and has created a business plan for the Black Leadership Institute funded by the Canadian Women Foundation. Previous roles include managing social enterprise certification at Buy Social Canada and leading partnerships for the #RisingYouth program at TakingITGlobal, where Christina significantly contributed to outreach and data analysis initiatives. With early experience in digital marketing, grant writing, and research management, Christina holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Guelph.
