Daniel Avi Halper

Daniel Avi Halper has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as Team Lead, Teacher Development at Skillshare, where they oversee the teacher development program, focusing on international expansion and content development. Prior to this, they were a Senior Manager, Teacher Development at Skillshare, responsible for finding teaching artists and creators, managing an international team, and overseeing the production of classes. Daniel is also a Co-Founder of Fresh Air Collective, a creative education organization that focuses on learning experiences in nature. Daniel Avi has experience as an Education & Startup Consultant for Miles Halper Projects LLC, where they worked on fundraising and film production. At General Assembly, Daniel held two roles, including Lead, University Programs, and Enterprise Engagement Manager, managing product and operations, and developing education programs for Fortune 500 companies. Daniel Avi also has experience as a Business Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, an English Teacher in Argentina, and internships at Ogilvy & Mather, CityPockets, Time Inc., and DC37.

Daniel Avi Halper received their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics & Management from Cornell University in 2012. Daniel Avi also pursued minors in Music and International Studies during their time at Cornell. In 2016, they attended General Assembly for a course in Front End Web Development. Additionally, they spent a year studying Spanish & International Business at Universidad Pablo de Olavide in 2011. Daniel Avi also obtained a certification in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instruction from BridgeTEFL.
