Melissa Galajda, PHR, SHRM-CP, serves as Senior Manager of People Operations at Skillsoft, where responsibility includes enhancing talent attraction, motivation, and retention as part of a leading eLearning organization since September 2012. Prior experience includes roles at Discover Financial Services as Senior HR Generalist, where pre and post-acquisition support was provided following the acquisition of Student Loan Corporation. Melissa began the career as HR Generalist at Citi, supporting a broad range of HR functions across multiple locations, and further honed management skills as Assistant Manager at New York & Company, overseeing store operations and employee engagement. Initial experience included roles at Paychex as a Human Resource Services Specialist.
