Jack Makarenko

Jack Makarenko has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2000 as an Assistant Marketing Director at Gestalt Consulting Group. Jack later worked as an Embedded Systems Engineer with Hydroacoustic Specialization at EvoLogics GmbH. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Serial Entrepreneur in various industries such as IT, FinTech, eCommerce, and Travel. Jack then worked at Finroom as a Software Tester and QA Engineer, eventually becoming a Product Owner. In 2011, they joined Software MacKiev as a Software Tester and QA Engineer. In 2012, they founded SKILLUP, where they served as the CEO and enrolled over 50,000 students, achieving significant financial growth. Jack also coached students to achieve career goals and successful employment. In 2014, they became a Strategic EdTech Investor and Industry Mentor at a private fund, focusing on supporting innovative EdTech startups. Jack also became a Limited Partner at ThisIsQA. Prior to founding SKILLUP, they established UAQA community, an industry forum for Quality Assurance professionals and an educational program for Software Testers. Jack Makarenko holds a Master's degree in Electronic Data Systems from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'. Jack also attended Technical Lyceum "KPI". In terms of additional certifications, Jack obtained mentorship under Margulan Seissembai, a Kazakh billionaire, in August 2021. Jack completed an Intensive Business English Course at Stafford House International in May 2019. Jack became a member of the Young Business Club London in January 2017. Jack received personal mentorship from Dr. Ichak Adizes in February 2016. Additionally, they obtained certifications in business systematization from Business-Сonstructor in February 2014 and had personal mentorship from Konstantyn Shtefuriak, a Ukrainian millionaire, in September 2009. Jack acquired knowledge on how to build a self-developing business through Brian Tracy International in November 2008.
