Alexis Shoemaker is currently the Manager of Consumer Research and Insights at SKIM since July 2023. Prior to this role, Alexis served at the Consumer Technology Association from November 2018 to June 2023, where responsibilities included managing several committees focused on artificial intelligence, audio systems, television manufacturing, and video systems, along with their related standards and publications. Alexis's earlier positions within the association included Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst, where expertise in primary market research, business intelligence, and tech industry growth forecasting was demonstrated. Alexis began a career in research as a Biomedical Engineering Technical Research Assistant at OHSU. Academically, Alexis holds a Master of Science in Research Administration from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Scripps College, complemented by an education from the Stockholm School of Economics and Catlin Gabel School.
