Peter Weigand

Peter Weigand has extensive experience in leadership and strategic roles within the energy sector spanning several decades. Currently, Peter serves as Chairman and CEO of Skipping Stone, a consultancy focused on global energy strategy and market assessment since 2008. Peter's earlier roles include being the CEO of Commerce Energy from 2004 to 2006, where significant expansions and a public offering on AMEX were achieved, and serving as COO at ACN Europe BV, where VoIP and broadband initiatives were launched. Additionally, Peter has held various board positions across multiple sectors from 1996 to 2018, contributing to both startups and established global companies. Peter also worked as Vice President at Statoil, focusing on corporate strategy and risk management in North America. Peter holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing, International Business, and Entrepreneurship from Wichita State University, earned between 1977 and 1981.
