Rickin Patel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Rickin started their career in 2009 with work experience at Goldman Sachs and Montagu Private Equity. In 2011, they co-founded Campus Trader LTD, a platform facilitating trade between students. Rickin then joined Deltra Group as a Principal Consultant, where they focused on business transformation in the Travel and Transport vertical.
From 2017 to 2019, Rickin worked at Hack Partners as a Commercial Lead/Client Manager, driving innovation in the transport and infrastructure sector. In this role, they developed client relationships and provided data-driven briefs to support hackathons and projects.
Since 2019, Rickin has been with Skipso, initially as a Business Development Manager, where they helped organizations launch and manage innovation programs. Rickin then became the Head of Growth, responsible for customer acquisition, retention, and growth in new geographies. In 2023, they were promoted to Director of Growth and Operations, overseeing business development, account management, and marketing teams.
Rickin Patel has a BSc in Economics with Econometrics from the University of Kent. Prior to that, they attended Reading Blue Coat School. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the Data Science A-Zā¢ course from Udemy in November 2020 and obtained a certification in Financial Modelling for Startups and Small Businesses from Udemy in May 2019.
