Annie Heaton

Annie Heaton is an accomplished professional with diverse experience spanning over a decade, currently serving as the Interim Group Head of Sustainability and Carbon Reduction Lead at Skipton Building Society since August 2015. Annie has been instrumental in coordinating the carbon reduction strategy across the Skipton Group, authoring the Net Zero strategy, and aligning the organization with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) targets. Previous roles include Assistant Manager Internal Audit and Senior Internal Auditor at Skipton Group, Part Time Lecturer of A Level English Language at Burnley College, and various positions in proofreading and editing across multiple organizations. Annie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Language from the University of Oxford and a PGC Secondary English from Leeds Trinity University.
