Johnathon Coughlan

Johnathon Coughlan has worked as a Security Lead at Skipton Building Society since 2023. Prior to this, they were employed at West Yorkshire Police, where they held various roles including Cyber Security and Solutions Architecture Manager, Senior Infrastructure Analyst, and Senior Network Analyst. In these positions, they were responsible for managing technology architecture, leading server support teams, and delivering infrastructure projects. Johnathon also worked as an Airwave System Analyst in the field of Law Enforcement.

Johnathon Coughlan graduated from Keele University in 2009 with a degree in English Literature and Philosophy Dual Honours. In addition to their academic education, they have obtained various certifications including NIST Cybersecurity Framework Professional Foundation from APMG International, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals from Microsoft, Agile Project Management Foundation and Practitioner from BCS, Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) and Cisco Certified Network Analyst (CCNA) from Cisco, ITIL Foundation from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and Prince 2 Foundation and Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
