Matthew Bain

Matthew Bain is an accomplished Cyber Security Architect with extensive experience in architecting security solutions across various sectors including banking, insurance, and government. Currently at Skipton Building Society since November 2022, Matthew is responsible for defining security roadmaps in areas such as Azure and Privileged Access Management. Prior to this, Matthew served as an Enterprise Security Architect at Infosys and held roles at HSBC, Direct Line Group, and Agilisys among others, focusing on cloud security architecture, strategic security design, and compliance with regulatory standards. Education includes a BA (Hons) / MA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford, an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, and a certification in Applied Cybersecurity Essentials from Purdue University.
