Tom Girling

Tom Girling has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on mortgage products and customer service. Tom started their career at Northern Rock in 2004 as a Mortgage Product Analyst. In 2008, they joined Yorkshire Building Society as a Direct Mortgage Product Manager, where they worked until 2010. Girling then moved to Skipton Building Society, where they held various roles, including Mortgage Product Manager and Senior Product Manager. From 2016 to 2019, they served as Head of Customer Contact, leading a team of 150 colleagues and overseeing customer service operations. In 2019, Girling became Head of Regulated Advice, responsible for overseeing all mortgage advice provided to customers and assisting those facing financial difficulties. Currently, they serve as the Head of Operations - Homes at Skipton Building Society.

Tom Girling earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree in Marketing and Management from Newcastle University in 2003. Tom furthered their education by completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Leadership and Management from Loughborough University in 2019.
