Joan Harrison is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in content creation, development, and production across various sectors of the entertainment industry. Currently serving as a Content Consultant at Skirball Cultural Center, Joan specializes in writing for creative exhibits and producing annual reports. Previously, as Founder and Executive Producer at LifeLaunch, Joan developed seminars focused on empowering college-aged women with essential life skills. Joan's roles at A+E Networks and Storied Media Group involved curating content for adaptation and consulting on media rights. A former Head of Scripted Programming & Development at Asylum Entertainment, Joan grew a diverse slate of TV series and films. Additional experience includes positions at The Gersh Agency, Stone & Company Entertainment, and Discovery Communications, where Joan was instrumental in developing hit shows and overseeing significant production initiatives. An early career as a Literary Agent and Screenwriter provided a strong foundation in storytelling and representation.
