Josia Simanjuntak

Josia Simanjuntak is an accomplished Operations Specialist at SKK Migas, where supervision and control of all Upstream Oil & Gas Projects in Indonesia during FEED and EPCI has been paramount since October 2009. Josia participated in the invite-only Impact MBA Scholar program with the Global Governance Initiative in 2022, focusing on management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, and entrepreneurship. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Assistant at Texas OnRamps, supporting high school students in a dual-enrollment initiative, and as a Lecture and Research Assistant at Universitas Indonesia, conducting research on various projects and assisting in Environmental Science and Chemical Engineering courses. Intern experience at PetroChina International involved gathering production data and simulating processing units. Josia holds a Master of Science in Energy and Earth Resources from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Indonesia, with additional education in Public Policy Analysis at LSE and Data Science.
