Saniya Jamal has a diverse range of work experience. Saniya started their career in 2014 at skoah, where they held various roles and responsibilities. Saniya began as a Skin Care Coach, then became an Associate Manager, followed by a General Manager, and later a Regional Trainer. In 2016, they were promoted to Regional Manager for Alberta and later for British Columbia. Saniya also served as an Interim Regional Manager in Vancouver. In their role as Training and Communications Manager, they developed and implemented onboarding plans, maintained training programs, and executed marketing initiatives. Saniya played a key role in launching new products and ensuring marketing campaigns were executed effectively. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations, overseeing skoah's retail and e-commerce operations, leading marketing, training, and product development initiatives. Prior to skoah, Saniya worked at Nons Drinks as an Operations and Hiring Manager, responsible for inventory, scheduling, cash handling, conflict resolution, and research and development of new drinks and products.

Saniya Jamal began their education at York House School, where they attended until the end of 2009. Following this, they enrolled at Western University and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in French Language and Linguistics from 2009 to 2013. Concurrently, they also obtained a Certificat in Français des affaires (Business French) from the same university during the same time period.
