Tomas Janata

Tomas Janata is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Head of Investment Controlling Department at ŠKODA AUTO a.s. since March 2018, overseeing financial planning and steering for investments, overhead, personnel, and various financial processes with a team of 16 members. Previously, Tomas held the position of Head of Sales Finance Controlling for the SKODA brand at Shanghai Volkswagen, managing financial aspects of sales in the China market with a 21-member team, and before that, was Head of Sales Performance Controlling at ŠKODA AUTO a.s., where responsibilities included consolidation of sales revenues and costs. Earlier experiences include roles as Executive Assistant to the CFO, controlling tasks related to pricing kits, and an internship at KPMG Czech Republic. Tomas holds a Master's degree from the University of Groningen and a Bachelor's degree from The University of Economics, Prague, complemented by an international exchange at Umeå University.
