Ville Määttä

Ville Määttä has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ville currently holds the position of Head of Project Management at Škoda Group North Region since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at Škoda Group from 2022 to 2023. Before joining Škoda Group, they served as a Project Manager at Fennovoima from 2019 to 2022 and as a Maintenance Engineer from 2018 to 2019. Ville also gained experience as a Maintenance Reliability Engineer at AkzoNobel in 2017. Ville Määttä started their career at Fennovoima as a Maintenance Engineer in 2015, and prior to that, they worked at Moventas in various roles such as Field Service Manager, Project Engineer, Condition Monitoring Engineer, and Product Testing Engineer. Their roles at Moventas involved technical and commercial support, sales, project management, and product testing in the wind turbine industry.

Ville Määttä obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BEng) in Paper Science and Engineering from Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2008. In 2019, they enrolled in the University of Oulu to pursue a Master's degree in Technology (MTech) specializing in Energy Systems and Environmental Engineering. In 2013, Ville Määttä obtained a certification as a Certified Vibration Analyst ISO 18436.2 Category II / ASNT Level II from the Mobius Institute - Reliability Improvement and Condition Monitoring Training.
