Alison Robbins

Tot Program Coordinator at Skokie Park District

As a Tot Program Instructor at Emily Oaks Nature Center, Robbins takes charge of leading seasonal classes for children aged 2 to 5, fostering their connection to nature. Their responsibilities include preparing materials, instructing programs such as Nature Fun & Frolic and Young Explorers, and ensuring a clean, engaging learning environment. Robbins collaborates with the Nature Center Manager to enhance curriculum and create new programming while contributing to special events and family activities. They maintain program materials, uphold safety standards, and strive for excellence in customer service, aligning with the mission and policies of the Skokie Park District.

In her downtime, Robbins finds joy in hiking and boating. Before starting her journey at the Skokie Park District, she had the fascinating opportunity to work with tigers. Her family is her greatest treasure, and she’s a proud supporter of the Chicago Bears. With music, Robbins has an appreciation for all genres—it’s impossible for her to pick just one favorite!
