Skokie Park District
FOIA, Freedom of Information Act Officer
As the Superintendent of Recreation, Labus is in charge of providing high-quality recreational facilities and programs that meet the community's needs. She oversees Backlot Bash, seven district facilities, administers most of the recreation programs, camps, and special events, and manages all recreation personnel. Labus also collaborates with the administrative team to create new partnerships and engagement with the community.
Aside from supporting her favorite programs at the District, Labus enjoys all Chicago sports teams.
She has gone skydiving in Cape Town, South Africa but when not traveling, she likes to golf, dine-out with friends, and spend time with her family at her family's lake house. She listens to country, pop, and rock but her favorite melodies are the laughter of her three boys-- her husband Mike, and sons Mac, and Brady--who are her everything.
