Skokie Park District
As the Museum Manager for the Skokie Park District, England oversees the Skokie Heritage Museum. She develops and presents a variety of engaging educational programs and activities, including history-centered walking tours, field trips, and workshops. In additional to programming, England manages the museum's collections, exhibits, facility maintenance, and more. She also works with several community organizations, including the Skokie Historical Society, to help preserve and share Skokie's history.
England spends most of her free time reading and can usually be found with at least one book nearby, though she sometimes takes a break to knit, embroider, play video and board games, or experiment in the kitchen for fun. She did her undergrad in history, anthropology, and museum studies at Luther College and received her master's degree in Museum and Exhibition Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
