As the Childcare Services Manager, Khan oversees the Tot Learning Center, managing its daily operations, staff, and programs. She ensures compliance with DCFS licensing, NAEYC accreditation, and ExceleRate Gold standards while maintaining the facility's safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Khan leads the hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation of staff, conducts weekly teacher meetings, and coordinates specialized training sessions. She manages parent communications, including newsletters and app updates, and organizes events such as Fall Fest and the graduation ceremony. Additionally, Khan supervises food service operations, complies with health regulations, and is dedicated to delivering high-quality child care services.
When she's not busy, Khan loves to unwind with a good book or a refreshing walk. One remarkable fact about her is that she was born in a car! Her family is her greatest treasure, and she couldn't imagine life without them. A devoted Chicago Bulls fan, Khan also has a soft spot for the timeless hits of the Backstreet Boys.

In addition to its diverse array of programs and special events, the Skokie Park District also offers summer camps, state-licensed full-day childcare and preschool, and before- and after-school care for grades K-5. The district is a past winner of the “National Gold Medal for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.”
