The Fitness First Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Fitness First health and wellness facility. This includes directing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of fitness programs such as personal training, group exercise, and individual sessions. Bever is also in charge of hiring, training, and supervising Fitness First staff, managing patron memberships, and ensuring that staff certifications are up to date. Additionally, Bever will collaborate with the Marketing Department to promote programs and events, address guest billing issues, and work closely with staff to organize special events and uphold high customer service standards.
In her downtime, Bever enjoys supporting all Chicago teams, proudly cheering for both the Sox and Cubs! She spends her free time working out, reading, and enjoying time with family and friends. A fan of rock music, Bever also has one thing she can’t live without—her family, who are always her top priority.

The Skokie Park District takes pride in its ability to serve the more than 63,000 residents of Skokie, Illinois and its customers throughout Chicagoland. Whether protecting natural resources, preserving historical sites or providing thousands of unique recreational opportunities within its more than 240 acres of parkland, the district has offered a multitude of quality programs since 1928. In addition to its diverse array of programs and special events, the Skokie Park District also offers summer camps, state-licensed full-day childcare and preschool, and before- and after-school care for grades K-5. The district is a past winner of the “National Gold Medal for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.”
