John Gacki (He/Him/His)

Landscape Supervisor at Skokie Park District

Gacki, the Landscape Supervisor, is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all park areas, including turf management, athletic fields, playgrounds, and park facilities. He manages various responsibilities, including trash collection, special event set-ups, and support projects, ensuring all park areas are maintained to the highest standards. In addition, Gacki oversees the Park Monitor Program, coordinates all park permits, and plays a vital role in managing the District’s snow removal operations, trash management, and recycling programs. As part of his duties, Gacki assists in special events, district construction projects, and provides leadership in the absence of other supervisors.

Gacki finds joy in anything outdoors, whether it’s running, fishing, kayaking, or gardening. One surprising fact about him? He’s a talented cook! Chocolate is his ultimate indulgence, and he cheers passionately for the Chicago Cubs. Gacki loves the timeless sounds of 60s, 70s, and 80s rock.
