Skokie Park District
Heisner, as the Skatium Hockey Director, is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all ice hockey programs at the Skokie Park District, ensuring a smooth delivery of services. She plans and implements a variety of programs, including youth and adult hockey leagues, specialized clinics, and tournaments. Heisner also manages ice scheduling, hockey initiatives, and collaborates with the Skatium team. She supervises and trains program staff, volunteers, and coaches, ensuring all programs comply with relevant standards. Additionally, Heisner tracks program participation and fosters strong relationships with key affiliates such as the Skokie Amateur Hockey Association (SAHA).

The Skokie Park District takes pride in its ability to serve the more than 63,000 residents of Skokie, Illinois and its customers throughout Chicagoland. Whether protecting natural resources, preserving historical sites or providing thousands of unique recreational opportunities within its more than 240 acres of parkland, the district has offered a multitude of quality programs since 1928. In addition to its diverse array of programs and special events, the Skokie Park District also offers summer camps, state-licensed full-day childcare and preschool, and before- and after-school care for grades K-5. The district is a past winner of the “National Gold Medal for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.”
