Skokie Park District
As a Teacher Assistant at the Tot Learning Center, Faheem supports the Early Childhood Classroom Head Teacher in creating and implementing educational programs for children aged six weeks to five years old. Faheem, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, helps plan and conduct activities that promote the children’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. She ensures the well-being of the children through close supervision, assists with diapering and toiletry needs, and maintains open communication with parents regarding the children’s progress.

The Skokie Park District takes pride in its ability to serve the more than 63,000 residents of Skokie, Illinois and its customers throughout Chicagoland. Whether protecting natural resources, preserving historical sites or providing thousands of unique recreational opportunities within its more than 240 acres of parkland, the district has offered a multitude of quality programs since 1928. In addition to its diverse array of programs and special events, the Skokie Park District also offers summer camps, state-licensed full-day childcare and preschool, and before- and after-school care for grades K-5. The district is a past winner of the “National Gold Medal for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.”
