Museum Coordinator at Skokie Park District

Guthrie brings her expertise to the Skokie Heritage Museum as the Museum Coordinator, where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of diverse operations and programming. She supports the development and facilitation of public events, educational programs, and workshops, including the annual Haunted Heritage Cemetery Walk and school tours. Guthrie manages museum-hosted camps as a director or supervisor, oversees rentals from inquiries to on-site facilitation, and leads research request fulfillment. Additionally, she contributes to collections management, exhibit development, and public engagement, fostering connections within the community while maintaining the museum’s high standards of service and excellence.

Guthrie spends her free time crocheting, diving into books, and baking (peanut butter is her favorite). Her favorite artist is Paul Simon, with and without Garfunkel.
