Svetlana Lipovskikh is a Research Scientist, Research Project Manager, and CREI Facilitator at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology since September 2014, specializing in the Center for Electrochemical Energy Storage. Prior to this, Svetlana served as a PostDoc Researcher and PhD Student at Forschungszentrum Jülich from 2008 to 2013, focusing on advanced topics such as quantum dot arrays and topological insulators. Initial experience includes roles as a Master Student at Forschungszentrum Jülich and a Probationer-Researcher at the Kapitza Institute, where Svetlana engaged in experimental research and technology development in low-temperature physics. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from RWTH Aachen University, and both an M.Sc. and B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Applied Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, complemented by a high school education with a deep study of mathematics.
