Joakim Malmström

Joakim Malmström is the General Director of Skolverket, where they oversee the administration responsible for supporting and guiding Swedish preschool, school, and adult education. They have held various significant positions, including Director General at the Swedish National Heritage Board and Director of the Natural History Museum, contributing to national cultural and educational development. Joakim currently serves as a board member for both the Institute for Futures Studies and WWF Sweden, and has been actively involved in educational leadership roles at multiple universities. They earned a Ph.D. in History from Uppsala University, where they also completed their Bachelor's degree.
