Markus Aakko

Markus Aakko started their work experience in 1998 as a Financial Officer at IFC - International Finance Corporation. Markus then joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 as a Managing Director and worked there until 2010. In 2010, Markus became an Executive Vice President at PIMCO. Markus held various Executive Vice President roles at PIMCO from 2010 to 2022. In 2022, they founded their own company called Roarke Financial Strategies LLC, where they served as the President and Founder. In 2022, they also started working at Brooklyn Investment Group as the CRO. In 2023, Markus joined bondIT as the Head of Business Solutions.

Markus Aakko completed their education at the Helsinki School of Economics. Markus obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in Economics in 1997. Subsequently, they pursued further studies and earned a Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Economics from the same institution in 1998.
