Fernando Videira

Fernando Videira has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Fernando started their career at HP as a Finance Trainee, where they performed functions in the areas of Management Reporting, Business Controls, and Sales of financial solutions. Fernando then joined Digital Equipment Corporation as a Finance Analyst, reporting directly to the CFO and supporting the Sales Director for large accounts. At Digital Equipment Corporation, they worked in Business Controls, Management Reporting, and Taxes.

Afterwards, Fernando moved back to HP as a Finance Analyst, where they continued to gain experience in financial analysis and reporting. Fernando then joined Optimus, a Triple Play Operator from Sonae Group, as a Financial Controller at the IT Department. In this role, they contributed to the launch of the third mobile operator in Portugal and set up processes and methodologies for the consulting services area.

In 2001, Fernando co-founded WeDo Technologies and served as CFO and a Board Member. In this capacity, they were responsible for the Finance & Admin and People Culture area, managing teams in various functions such as Finance, Strategy, Project Support, IT/IS, Legal, and HR. Fernando also interacted with a central shared service team provided by Sonae IM.

In 2017, Fernando became a Co-Founder, Shareholder, and CFO of SKORR, a Portuguese start-up focused on social media tools. Fernando played a crucial role in the start-up's conception, legal set-up, recruitment, and managing tax, legal, and accounting operations.

In 2019, Fernando took on multiple roles. Fernando became a Board Member/Director of WeDo Technologies and an advisor to the Mobileum Group CFO and Risk BU CEO. Fernando also started their own consulting company, FV Consulting, where they provided services in the areas of Finance & Admin and People Culture to various clients, including GET EFFY- Efficiency Technologies Lda.

Finally, in 2022, Fernando joined Effy Business as the Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the company's financial operations.

Fernando Videira completed a Post Graduation in Finance at the Nova School of Business and Economics from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended the Universidade Católica Portuguesa from 1988 to 1994, but no degree or field of study is specified. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Preparing your Company for Sale" from the CEO Collaborative Forum in July 2010, and in "Certified Public Accountant" from the Ordem dos contabilistas certificados in January 1997. Fernando also received a "First Certificate in English" from the British Council in 1987.
