Søren Alsbjerg Hørup

Søren Alsbjerg Hørup is an experienced software professional currently serving as the Department Manager of System Software at SKOV A/S since August 2008. Responsibilities include overseeing the Farm Management Software department, acting as Product Owner for the FarmOnline team, and contributing as a Software Engineer with a focus on developing new features and maintaining CI/CD environments. Additionally, Søren has held roles such as Scrum Master, overseeing the integration of Scrum practices, and worked as a Software Engineering Consultant for local businesses since March 2016. Earlier experience includes creating the Android game Vogelstein 2D and providing IT support at Acrossmedia. Søren holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Aalborg University, along with prior technical education from Skive Tekniske Skole and Skivehus Skole.
