Flavia Pompa-Mellilo has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the insurance and legal industry. Flavia started their career as a Lawyer at General Motors in 1993 and worked there until 1997. After that, they joined Addendum as a Consulting Manager for three years. In 2000, they joined Skuld as a Lawyer and later progressed to the role of Assistant Vice President in 2007. From 2012 to 2016, they served as the Vice President - Yacht & Personal Injury Claims Coordinator, overseeing internal knowledge sharing and claims handling routines. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President - Global Head of Claims Processes at Skuld, where they are responsible for developing and maintaining efficient claims processes.

Flavia Pompa-Mellilo earned a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, completing their studies from 1989 to 1994. Flavia then pursued a Master's degree in Maritime Law at the University of Oslo from 2004 to 2005. Flavia also holds a certification as a CEDR accredited mediator from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).
