Jan Inge Walen

Jan Inge Walen has a diverse work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Jan Inge started their career at Anglo-Nordic Insurance Brokers AS as a Senior Broker from November 1996 to June 2001. Jan Inge then joined Acta as a Financial Advisor from August 2001 to September 2003. After that, they worked at Heath Lambert Group as a Senior Broker from October 2003 to October 2004. Following their time at Heath Lambert Group, they joined NEMI ASA as an Underwriter Marine Hull from November 2004 to October 2009. From October 2009 to April 2012, they worked at W.R. Berkley Insurance Norway as a Senior Marine Underwriter. Currently, they are employed at Skuld, where they have held the positions of Assistant Vice President, Underwriting since May 2012 and Vice President, Underwriting since January 2015.

Jan Inge Walen attended BI Norwegian Business School from 1992 to 1996, earning a Master's degree in Shipping Management. Jan Inge then continued their education at the same institution from 1997 to 2000, focusing on Professional Marine Insurance.
