Julie Mangiante

Julie Mangiante has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Julie currently holds the position of Vice President, Claims at Skuld. Prior to this role, they served as the Assistant Vice President, Claims and Senior Claims Executive at the same company. Before joining Skuld, Julie worked as the North Europe BD Manager at AMT Necotrans - Necotrans Oil & Gas Division. Julie also held various positions at NECOTRANS GETMA, including East China Manager, Chief Representative of the Shanghai office, Legal and Insurance Dept Manager, and Claim handler, marine and insurance. Julie's early career includes a research assistant position at the Norwegian Institute of Maritime Law while working at the Universitet i Oslo.

Julie Mangiante has a strong educational background in law and criminology. Julie holds a Master Degree in maritime law from CDMT Centre de Droit Maritime et des Transports in Aix en Provence, France, which they completed in 2001. Julie also participated in the Erasmus Programme at the University of Oslo in the field of law during the same time period. Prior to that, Julie obtained a Master's degree in business law from Aix-Marseille University, specializing in law, between 1998 and 1999. In addition, they have a Diploma of University (DU) in criminology from Institut de Science Pénales et de Criminologie, earned from 1995 to 1997. Julie Mangiante started their academic journey at Aix-Marseille University, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in law in 1997. Continuing their professional development, Julie also became a CEDR Accredited Mediator through the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in 2023.
