Oddbjørn Lona

Oddbjørn Lona has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Oddbjørn began their career as an Oracle Analyst Programmer at Taurus Software Solutions in 2001, followed by a stint as a Consultant at Litmus Group, where they developed a data warehouse application for the gaming industry. Oddbjørn then worked at Vest Agder Fylkesmann providing support before joining the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration as an Advisor and later as a Senior Executive Officer, handling refugee camp cases and developing MS Access applications.

In 2006, Lona worked as a Senior executive officer at Statistics Norway before moving to ICA Norway as a Software Developer. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at Steria As as a Senior Systemconsultant, primarily as a software developer in scrum-based application management teams. During this time, they worked with various technologies such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Jira.

Lona's most recent and longest employment has been with Skuld since 2013. Oddbjørn has held several roles, including Vice President and Assistant Vice President, focused on application architecture and team leadership. Oddbjørn has been responsible for leading application development and maintenance, using technologies such as AngularJS, PL/SQL, PHP, and Java. Oddbjørn has also implemented Jira and Confluence within the organization.

Oddbjørn Lona has a Master's degree in Information Technology from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), obtained between 1999 and 2001. Oddbjørn also has a Master's degree in Information Technology from Griffith University, completed in 1999. Prior to that, they studied IT at the University of Agder (UiA) between 1998 and 1999, and earned a degree in Project Management (Siviløkonom) from the same university between 1994 and 1998. In addition to their academic qualifications, Oddbjørn Lona has obtained a Sun Certified Programmer Std.Ed 6.0 certification from Sun / Prometric, although the specific month of attainment is not provided.
