Shawn O'Hare

Shawn O'Hare has a diverse work experience. Shawn began their career as a Stream Surveyor for Pepperdine University in 2002. Shawn then held Mathematics Tutor positions at The Evergreen State College and Humboldt State University from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they became a PhD Candidate in Mathematics at UC Santa Cruz. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Data Scientist at Level Skies and Restless Bandit, where they designed and implemented statistical models to extract insights from 600+ million Social Profiles. In 2019, they took on the role of Data Scientist at Workday. Most recently, in 2021, they became Principal Engineer and Data Systems Architect at Skupos Inc.

Shawn O'Hare's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics from Humboldt State University, which they attended from 2002 to 2007. Shawn also studied Mathematics at Uppsala University from 2005 to 2006, and at The Evergreen State College from 2003 to 2004. Shawn'ssecondary education was completed at Oak Park High School from 1998 to 2002.
