Reydel Leon Machado

Reydel Leon Machado has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.

From 2020 onwards, Reydel worked as the Lead Software Developer at SkuVault.

From 2016 to 2020, they held the position of Software Engineer at QSR Automations. During this time, they developed a wide range of enterprise systems and apps, including authentication/authorization services, service discovery, and SMS delivery services. Reydel also worked on third-party integrations and external REST APIs. Reydel was involved in the entire project lifecycle, from inception and research to deployment, including configuring deployment pipelines and instrumentation for better visibility into the apps. Additionally, they contributed to the adoption of new technologies and system upgrades.

As a Freelancer from 2009 to 2016, Reydel gained experience in web development, database design, and backend implementation using various technologies such as NodeJS, C#, .NET Core, Java, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Ruby, Python, and PHP.

In 2015, Reydel briefly worked as an Account Manager at Superior Business Solutions LLC, where they served as a liaison between potential customers and the service providers in the cable & satellite, retail, and telecommunications industries. Their primary responsibility was to provide customers with information and assist them throughout the initial setup and installation process.

From 2009 to 2013, Reydel worked as a Systems Administrator at the University of Holguin. Reydel deployed, secured, and managed the first national academic information system at the university, including developing a module for it using Java. Reydel also provided customer support, including basic network troubleshooting, and acted as a technical advisor for the university's admissions department.

Reydel Leon Machado obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Holguín, from the years 2004 to 2009. In addition, they also obtained a certification in "M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers" from MongoDB in July 2014.
