Darryl Cokes II

Darryl Cokes II has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Darryl is currently working as an Art QA Specialist at Sky Castle Studios since October 2022. Prior to this, they were a Background Artist at Imaginex Animation Studios, LLC. starting in December 2020.

From 2018 to 2023, Darryl worked as a Freelance Artist, taking on various projects as an illustrator. During this time, they specifically worked as a Children's Book Illustrator, creating all the backgrounds for a book called "Magic Garden".

Before their freelance work, Darryl gained valuable experience at Blizzard Entertainment as a QA Tester from August 2019 to December 2021. Darryl served as an embedded lead test analyst for the world art QA team on Diablo 2: Resurrected. Darryl'sresponsibilities included planning and organizing daily tasks, creating strategic test suites, documenting and escalating bugs, and performing multi-platform testing.

Darryl also worked at GameStop as a Senior Game Advisor from October 2018 to July 2019. In this role, they provided information and recommendations to customers regarding games and consoles. Darryl was also responsible for day-to-day tasks such as inventory management and store maintenance.

Earlier in their career, Darryl held positions at The Cleveland Museum of Art as a Protective Services staff member in 2017. Darryl also interned as a Creative Intern at Albany Center Galleries in the same year. Darryl's work experience includes previous tutoring work at The Cleveland Institute of Art from an unspecified time in 2015 to 2016.

Darryl Cokes II attended the Cleveland Institute of Art from 2014 until 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration.
