Stephanie Ross has a diverse work experience in the fields of art, design, and production. Stephanie began their career as an artist assistant at MAKESHOP/GLCC and a gallery attendant at The Andy Warhol Museum. Stephanie also worked as a Makeshop Educator at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.
In 2012, Stephanie joined TRANS Q TELEVISION as a producer, writer, and actor. This three-year project involved outreach, talent scouting, and producing/editing video segments for a web-based variety show. Stephanie also performed in various productions as part of the Trans-Q production team.
Stephanie then pursued a Bachelor's degree at Carnegie Mellon University, where they worked as a student from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they also served as an artist assistant to Scott Andrew, providing instruction in workshops on costume design/construction, character development, and performance at the Gay and Lesbian Community Center in Pittsburgh.
After graduating, Stephanie worked as an art assistant for Narcissister from 2012 to 2019. Stephanie collaborated with Narcissister on various art projects.
In 2016, Stephanie joined Northwestern University as a costume designer, where they worked on designing costumes for the Wirtz Center of Performing Arts' yearly seasons. Stephanie collaborated with directors, scenic and lighting designers, production teams, and actors to create costumes for ensemble and character classes.
Stephanie also gained experience as an assistant costume designer with Ana Kuzmanic. Stephanie assisted in costume design for a new production with the Los Angeles Opera.
Stephanie'smost recent role is as a 2D artist at Sky Castle Studios, where they currently work.
Stephanie Ross pursued their education at Northwestern University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Master's degree in Stage Design. Prior to this, they attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Art degree with a focus on Art.
