Jakub Pietrzak

Jakub Pietrzak has extensive work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Software Engineer for SciArt Studios and Lightcraft. In 2010, they became a Junior Software Engineer for Samsung Poland Research & Development Center. In 2011, they were a Research Assistant for the Department of Medical Physics, Maria Skłodowska-Curie Memorial Cancer Centre - Institute of Oncology, where they worked on image reconstruction of SPECT scanners and medical image processing and analysis. In 2012, they became a PhD student at Uniwersytet Warszawski, where they worked on a facial expressions recognition project and deep neural networks training in virtual environments. In 2013, they were a Research Engineer for Platige Image. In 2015, they became a Research Consultant for brytlyt. Finally, in 2018, they became the Chief Technology Officer and Founder of Sky Engine.

Jakub Pietrzak obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Warsaw between 2004 and 2011.
