Krzysztof Smyl

Krzysztof Smyl has been working in the software engineering and automation engineering field for 8 years. In 2012, they began their career as an Engineering Intern at Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP, where they developed a Power Line Communication modem. This project was continued in 2013 and expanded into an engineer's thesis. In 2014, they joined INTELYO Sp. z o.o. [Ltd.] as an Automation Engineer, where they were responsible for programming and launching a complex home automation system in the Cosmopolitan apartment building, as well as supervision of DALI light control systems and participation in home automation system projects in private residences all over Poland. In 2017, they worked as a Software Developer (C++) at EMG Systems, and as a Software Developer (Contractor) at Verifone. Since 2018, they have been working at SKY ENGINE AI as a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Development Engineer (C++/Python).

Krzysztof Smyl obtained an Engineer's Degree from Warsaw University of Technology in 2013, where they studied Mechatronics from 2009 to 2013. Krzysztof then attended the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark from 2014 to 2016, where they studied Robot Systems at the Master's level. In 2014, they obtained an Advanced (CAE) certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment. Krzysztof also obtained sailing licences from the Polish Yachting Association in 2006.
