Kieron Edwards

Kieron Edwards is a seasoned professional in product security and technology management with a career spanning several decades in the media and broadcasting industry. Since July 2011, Kieron has held several key positions at Sky, currently serving as Group Director of Product Security, where responsibilities include overseeing content protection across all services. Prior to Sky, Kieron worked at Top Up TV as Director of Technology and Platform, contributing to the development of the Anytime PVR and ensuring platform security. Previous roles also include Launch Manager at OpenTV, Head of Platform Technology at GULF DTH, and various positions in interactive platforms and technology development at companies such as CarltonActive, ONdigital, and ITV Digital. Kieron began a career in research and development at Teletext and served as a consultant for LBMS plc. Kieron holds a BSc(Hons) in Computing from the University of Staffordshire and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computing from Shebbear College.
