Joseph Skow

Joseph Skow has a diverse work experience in various industries. Joseph started their career as a Talent Agent at Random Records in 2009, where they presented and offered recording agreements to artists and developed relationships with industry professionals. In 2010, they served as the Director of Social Media Marketing at Whole Health Products LLC, managing the company's social media presence and analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns.

From 2011 to 2012, Joseph worked as an Assistant to the O.T. Program Director at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, conducting research and assisting in intervention script development. Joseph then joined Milwaukee Film as a Festival Street Team Member in 2012, distributing promotional materials and maintaining shift reports.

Joseph's experience in the entertainment industry continued with roles at Docherty Model & Talent Agency and Ohlsson Model & Talent, where they worked as a Talent Agent, representing and developing actors for television, film, and radio. At Ohlsson Model & Talent, they played a key role in rebranding the agency and preparing the franchise application for SAG-AFTRA.

In 2016, Joseph started their own company, Joseph Skow Casting, where they worked as the Owner/Casting Director. Joseph managed casting operations for various projects and advocated for film tax incentives in Wisconsin.

Continuing their career in the entertainment industry, Joseph joined Axie Infinity in 2018 as a Content Creator, and in 2021, they worked at OpenSea as a Community Manager, guiding partners through the process of setting up on the platform, onboarding new users, and fostering a vibrant community culture.

Joseph has also worked as a Freelance/Independent Contractor, taking on various roles in film, video, and new genres. These roles included music supervision, location scouting, editing, and cinematography for different projects.

Joseph Skow began their education journey in 2002 at Nicolet High School, where they completed their high school education and obtained their High School Diploma in 2006. During this time, they focused on fulfilling the General Education Requirements. In 2005, Joseph attended the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music for a non-degree program, studying Music Industry. From 2006 to 2012, Joseph attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film with a concentration in the Film/Video/New Genres Track. Additionally, in 2011 and 2012, Joseph participated in a non-degree program at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, studying Art/Art Studies, General.
